He has written books about the history of ethics, the idea of multiculturalism, and the construction of race. His most recent book is "Not So Black and White: A History of Race from White Supremacy to Identity Politics." This event is cosponsored by the Schar School of Policy and Government

Virginia, based on the true story of Mildred and Richard Loving, whose interracial marriage led to a landmark Supreme Court decision in 1967.
